Joel Porras Salazar is a senior executive and faith-based development leader with more than 25 years of experience across Latin America and the Caribbean. He brings deep expertise in administration, finance, institutional strengthening, and cross-sector collaboration, working closely with churches, NGOs, and international partners. Throughout his career, Joel has led strategic planning initiatives, strengthened governance structures, and cultivated meaningful relationships with donors and stakeholders, consistently advancing transparency, sustainability, and measurable community impact.
As the Founder of Being One, Joel leads a ministry focused on uniting churches and organizations to serve vulnerable communities through collaborative and accountable models. His leadership emphasizes partnership-building between Costa Rica and the United States, volunteer engagement, and leadership care, equipping churches to become catalysts for transformation. With a strong foundation in both financial management and ministry development, Joel brings a unique ability to bridge vision with execution, empowering networks to create lasting and holistic change.
